On September 12, 1997, Sal and Maria Lubrano opened the doors of their Mamma Lucia Italian Restaurant in the heart of Dunkirk. Their success was immediate. Down-home Italian cooking with the freshest ingredients made Mamma Lucia the talk of the town.
